Yikes...April was the last time I posted. So much for keeping this thing current! Quick update:

May was a busy month. The Chesapeake Jubilee happened this month and we do parking for it every year at the church. All the money goes towards our youth & young adult ministry to help pay for mission trips. Over the past few years we haven't made as much b/c of new buildings on Greenbrier parkway that have parking lots and they always fill up first. And it ALWAYS rains jubilee weekend. So thinking it would be a typical year I wasn't too worried that we didn't have as many volunteers as usual. Well not only was it the most beautiful weekend ever but we doubled what we made last year! Saturday evening around 7pm we had to close the lot because we were full!! It was CRAZY!!! Oh and did I mention I only had 6 people working?! 4 taking money (we have 2 entrances) and 2 parking...it was a madhouse! But we made it out alive and with lots of money! I was little worried how Ronin would do but he did great! He was my little money helper lol. Danny & I also did a family photo shoot, 2 engagement shoots and a wedding. Oh and in the mix of all that our poor Haylee dog had an eye injury so we were in and out vet appts all month. She's all better now though!

June is just as busy. My sister Raquel had her wedding! Her & Ian have been married for 5 years but the army messed up their plans for their "real" wedding and they were finally able to have the celebration they wanted! It was great! It was in Stevens PA on Ian's grandfather's farm. Beautiful place! And what a beautiful bride, my sister is gorgeous!

And since we were in PA we could not pass up the chance to go to Hershey Park!! It was sooooo fun!!!!!!! And Ronin had a great time. He went on his first carousel ride. He didn't know what to think of it at first but once it got going he didn't want to get off. After we got back from PA poor Ronin got sick. And then it just didn't seem to go away! It was a combination of teething, fever, fluid in ears, sore throat and then to top it off, Hand Mouth Feet disease. It sounds worse than it really is, its just a rash but an annoying one. He unfortunately got sores in his mouth so he couldn't eat or drink w/out it hurting. Thankfully he's over it all now and back to his normal self. The only issue he's having right now is his darn sleep schedule again. He was waking up 2-3 times at night and then not napping. He's back to sleeping through the night (THANK YOU JESUS!) but still fighting his naps. He won't sleep unless Danny or I are holding him. It's been frustrating and we're working on it so hopefully he'll go back to napping on his own soon.

So that's my update so far. I'm sure I'm forgetting some things but this will have to do for now!
